Watchfire Books

Why I do this

I started Watchfire Books because I wanted work that actually fit around my family — not the other way around. Before this, I spent years in the investment industry, as a financial advisor holding several FINRA licenses along with CRPC and AAMS designations. I understood finances long before I became a bookkeeper — what I didn't have was flexibility. Bookkeeping gave me a way to keep doing meaningful financial work while homeschooling my kids and actually being present for my own family.

That's part of why I get it when a business owner tells me the books are the part of the job they dread. You didn't start your business to spend your evenings reconciling a bank account — you started it to do the work you're good at. I keep the numbers clean so you can go do that.

Credentials

I'm a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Intuit-certified bookkeeper. My background in financial services gives me a sharper eye for business-level decisions — things like entity structure or retirement plan setup — though I'll always point you to your CPA or attorney for anything that requires their license, not mine.

Right here, close to home

I live in Hernando County and work with business owners here, in Citrus, and in Pasco County — electricians, salon owners, contractors, people who built something real and just need the books to keep up with it.
